Barcelona Ready for Inaugural Match at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday

Barça revealed they will play at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in domestic competition 30 months following their departure to allow renovations to start.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators can be present based on approved permits. When completed, the stadium’s capacity will reach close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. The club said recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.

Stadium Testing

Barça organized a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium earlier this month. The club said they were hoping for permission from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side on 9 December at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
