Recent details have emerged concerning the shocking deaths of renowned director Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were located at their residence property on Sunday.

The Discovery

As detailed in an account referencing a confidential source, a therapist scheduled for an appointment initially became concerned after failing to get inside the residence. The therapist then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides close by.

When she went into the home, Romy found her father's body. Reports state she then exited the property overwhelmed with grief, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. A companion who had gone with her then dialed 911. Subsequently, paramedics located Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Charges

The police have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of premeditated murder, as well as the use of a dangerous weapon, said to be a knife. He is currently being held without bail.

The anonymous source also disputed several earlier details. It was stated that while Romy Reiner informed first responders that her brother Nick resided in a detached unit on the grounds, she did not point to him as a person of interest at that time.

Nick Reiner was taken into custody at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Exposition Park, about 15 miles from the residence. He was set to appear in court on Tuesday, but his attorney, Alan Jackson, indicated his client had not been medically cleared and would not appear until Wednesday at the earliest.
